UDP with Tabular Results and Gauges -

If a UDP is pulling a table with tabular results, it cannot be assigned to a radial or linear gauge, which only makes sense. I thought I could overcome this problem by using a transform to calculate the "Column Average", but that doesn't work because each row gets transformed with the new average value. My expectation was for the "Column Average" transform to return with 1 value for all rows. Is this behavior by design or am I doing something wrong? It's rather strange because I am now storing, repeatedly, the same average value in each row.

Any input would be appreciated.
