Expand and Collapse Resources

I think it would be nice to have the ability to expand and collapse resources in the Orion WebUI, specifically Node Level resources.

I have a lot of different resources on my Node level view as there are a lot of different things that are important to me; however, I don't necessarily need to see all of them every time I go to look at a node.

I think it would really help to clean up the Node level view by having the ability to expand and collapse the resources.  Also, I would like the ability to specify on each resources if it defaults to expanded or collapsed.  This way when I go to the node level view only the really important resources will be presented but additional information is available in the other resources if I expand them out.

  • For some reason this post doesn't how up in my activity history?

  • Hi Byron--

Thank you for making us aware of this issue.  Do you see this happening in other forums besides NPM Feature Requests?  We tested one in the IPAM Feature Request forum and it did show up in the user's activity history.

We will open a ticket with our web dev team to investigate this matter, though it may be slotted as something fixed by the new platform.

    Thanks again,

    DH

This is the only place I have noticed this so far.  My larger concern was that feature requests were not getting seen by others but since you saw it I assume others can see it as well.

New platform for Thwack?  What kind of changes should we expect?

  • Hi Byron,

You should expect a much more flexible and working search capability, easier navigation around the site, better organization, better highlighting of active users...

    Improvements all around, sir.
