Identify Cisco Nexus 9396TX Chassis
This will populate the MachineType field such that the node is identified as a Nexus 9396TX rather than just Cisco. The OS version and boot image filename will also be populated.
This info is useful for creating views by machine type. I also like to create firmware inventory reports for each hardware platform.
If this poller is assigned to a node with a different sysObjectID then the MachineType will be populated as "INVALID POLLER ASSIGNMENT".
This poller was created with NPM 11.5.1.
The poller does need to be manually assigned to the node via List Resources. Auto-detection and assignment of the poller does not appear to work at this time.
