I prefer tabletop, non-electronic, socially interactive games. Board games, card games, etc.
But I do have a Nintendo 64 and a PS1.
I am thinking about picking up a Wii very soon, especially since the Wii (not the WiiU) will play GameCube games as well.
I'm like you, I prefer boardgames to video game. I'm lucky enough to have a game store that hosts strategic board game tournaments regularly.
Since posting the above, I have purchased a Game Cube and a WiiU.
Can't wait for Zelda WiiU! The previews look amazing.
But I have also purchased a lot of board games, and continued my addictions to X-Wing Miniatures Game and Android:Netrunner LCG.
Have you tried the X-wing miniature rpg rule set yet? It was a fan build add on to the rules. The players start as a rebel pilot and gain experience for upgrading skills and ship. The empire ships follow a script for flight and actions.
That sounds amazing! I will have to try it!
