DPA fail after a SQL Server upgrade

We have upgraded our SQL Server from 2008 to 2014 by creating a new install then re-attached the databases and porting the SQL Logins from the prior SQL Server Instance, Thus we have a new msdb and master database on the same SQL Server Name. We need to reinitiate DPA on the new install. Try to re-register the same server fail in DPA with an error. The assumption is that we need to remove the current instance from DPA then re-register, How to remove an instance from DPA?

Any advice what to do to get DPA working again?
