Converting existing URL to SSL

You can go ahead and install your SSL cert to your server and bind 443 to the site in IIS. Test and make sure things are working correctly. (That you can connect via https and that your cert doesn't throw any errors)

Once you are satisfied, then you can follow through with the DB changes.

We converted to SSL.  There were no issues after ensuring the appropriate certificate was created and installed.

So for certificate installation I would have to check with my server team

you need to follow your own process for obtaining a cert.

If you Read The Friendly Manual and follow its instructions, you should have a successful implementation.

Thanks for the input ppl.. let me check...first i need to figure out for Certificate...and then i can go ahead with the available steps in the manual

I had opened a case for this and got to know that only steps required for this is to just go to IIS manager and edit the bindings.

As per the engineer the KB mentioned abt updating DB is not applicable for latest version.

Has anyone come across the same?
