inability to open documents attached to tickets

Good Morning All,

Just a question, and hopefully someone can assist with an explanation:

Any one have any ideas why we are having issues opening a .docx file. When a docx file is attached to a ticket and then you click on the link, instead of opening the word docum3ent it opens up as a html document which only shows garbag on the screen

Any assistance with this is greatly appreciated
