We have many (20) sites around the country that are monitored. Each site has a Gateway dependency parent such that when the gateway is not reachable, we don't get alert spammed from the nodes behind the gateway being down. Works Great. It was my expectation that putting the Gateway in maintenance would have the same effect of blocking alerts coming from that site, but this is not the case. I would like to have an easy way to take offline an entire set of nodes behind a dependency parent , similar to how the Dependency parent Node Down blocks lower node alerts, without having to touch those lower nodes.
