Hi. Is there a log the computer keeps to track Dameware connections or sessions? I am new to Dameware and would like to know if this is a feature because not all staff members remember to lock the remote pc- I'm more concerned about server,) before disconnecting via Dameware.
The default settings, logging is not enabled. You can enable logging within the configuration file. On your DMRC go to view Default Host Properties, go to Install Options tab and click on Configure. On the DMRC properties dialog box go to Addition Settings tab, Click on the Logging button and set your options. Also located on this tab you can also tell DameWare to lock the workstation on disconnect. You can then push the new settings to your computers.
