If you have the ability to stretch the same VLAN to your DR location the process is very simple and straightforward. If that is not possible however, you will need to uninstall and reinstall FoE to have it function in a WAN/DR configuration.
So, step by step configuration will be;
- Replication of SQL DB on WAN.
- Removing FoE from secondary server and then primary server (Primary server is running currently).
- Moving secondary server's virtual machine to a VMWare in WAN.
- Then making a fresh install as described in Disaster Recovery scenario.
Is that ok? And one last question, is it possible to choose replicated SQL DB as secondary server's db which is located in WAN?
The steps you've outlined above appear to be correct. You will need to ensure however that the SQL server name, instance name, and database name remain identical at the remote/WAN location to that of the primary for failover to occur properly. In many cases a host file is used to achieve this.
