Forum Is anything in the /opt/Storage_Manager_Agent/systemic/* directories necessary to back up?

Is anything in the /opt/Storage_Manager_Agent/systemic/* directories necessary to back up?

I understand that the data sub-folders in /opt/Storage_Manager_Agent/systemic/* hold temporary collection data files that are purged automatically after the scheduled collection cycles. What I'd like to know is if there is anything at all in the /systemic/* directories that I need to back up for the purpose of disaster recovery. If not then I can set my exclusion to /opt/Storage_Manager_Agent/systemic/ and just exclude the entire folder.

Alternatively, can I exclude the entire data folders within /opt/Storage_Manager_Agent/systemic/*/data? It appears Storage Manager leaves a couple of .data and .index files in each /data folder. Are they necessary for disaster recovery?

Reviving this thread as we're getting backup exceptions for these files again and I'd like to exclude them if possible.

Hello,
You can very well exclude those entire folders in storage manager agent. From the Storage manager server you can take backup of "..\Storage Manager Server\mariadb\data\storage".

Thanks for the reply. Just so I'm clear, you're telling me that nothing in the /opt/Storage_Manager_Agent/systemic/*/data folders is necessary for disaster recovery?
