    WAN IP Report

    ab_ccnp

      Dear All,

I want to generate WAN IP of all our devices, I see the WAN IP details are under Interface Details then IP address, does anyone know I to get the network devices WAN IP of all offices in a report, I tried to generate a report but I was getting LAN IP of the devices but not WAN IP

The easiest way I can think of is to create a report with a custom table.  Filter out all private IP addresses so use something like the following:

Obviously if you have WAN IPs starting with those you need to be a little more concise.  Then edit the custom table resource to have fields similar to this (or whatever you want really):

That should get you started.  If you need help setting it up feel free to message me.

I'm trying to do the same thing, and the same result happens - I just get the private IPs. I really want to figure this out. I have a report for work due on March 1st. I've done the queries as listed above and I get very little to no output. I've tried to isolate the data by just working with the Cisco ASAs in our environment that are configured with the external IP, but I'm getting nowhere. Any feedback on how the logic should be constructed would be great. And, honestly, it shouldn't be this hard to do.

Here's the solution a colleague of mine came up with:

With the exceptions in the query type being

              SELECT a.Caption, a.Location, b.IPAddress, b.SubnetMask

              FROM Nodes AS a

              INNER JOIN NodeIPAddresses AS b

              ON a.NodeID=b.NodeID

              WHERE b.IPAddressType = 'IPv4'and

              b.IPAddress not like '10.%' and

              b.IPAddress not like '172.16.%' and

              b.IPAddress not like '172.17.%' and

              b.IPAddress not like '172.18.%' and

              b.IPAddress not like '172.19.%' and

              b.IPAddress not like '172.20.%' and

              b.IPAddress not like '172.21.%' and

              b.IPAddress not like '172.22.%' and

              b.IPAddress not like '172.23.%' and

              b.IPAddress not like '172.24.%' and

              b.IPAddress not like '172.25.%' and

              b.IPAddress not like '172.26.%' and

              b.IPAddress not like '172.27.%' and

              b.IPAddress not like '172.28.%' and

              b.IPAddress not like '172.29.%' and

              b.IPAddress not like '172.30.%' and

              b.IPAddress not like '172.31.%' and

              b.IPAddress not like '192.168.%' and

              b.IPAddress not like '169.254.%' and

              b.IPAddress not like '8.8.8.8' and

              b.IPAddress not like '172.10.1.2'

It seems like a lot of work, but it got the job done and gave us the output we needed.

Is there anyone out there that can condense this solution a bit?
