Symantec DLP and Dameware mini remote control 11

I'm having an issue where Symantec data loss prevention is keeping dameware mini remote from loading. I attempt to connect I get the negotiations on the task bar but the screen goes white or freezes at initializing.

Have you added an exception in DLP? Does it still freeze?
