Do you see CPU / Memory option when you do List resources to the Node in Orion ?
Can you share the screen shot of List Resource from this node ?

Run SNMPWalk.exe
Enter ip address of the Node under "Agent Address or DNS name >
Select Version " 2c / or 3 " Depending on the Node configured .Enter the " community String" configured for the device .
Scan and save the SNMPWaLK and zip .attach

1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.109.1.1.1.1.8 (Total 5 min for each CPU )
Please Note:- If we found the following OID's in the device MIBWALK only then the Orion NPM will assign the CPU / Memory poller to the device to collect the statistics . If these required OID's are missing within the Node MIBWALK the Poller will be ignored and will not list under the List Resources.
What CPU and memory utilization object IDs (OIDs) does Orion NPM poll?
By default, Orion NPM polls the following CPU and memory utilization OIDs, as listed by device manufacturer.

How can i correct this issue ?
You can contact the Vendor and show him the MIBWALK from the device they might have an ISO upgrade for this WCL which could update this .

Or the SNMP User cannot access the table might be restricted on the device SNMP Configuration . (If its SNMP V3 ) .
Are you using SNMPV3 for this device ?

In that case the below is the answer device have no MIB table for CPU / Memory which needs to address by the Vendor as its out of Solarwinds Orion issue.

NPM can tell me about the access points managed by each controller, is there any way for it to tell me about the clients connected? Ideally a total clients number would be useful.

There is an OID that returns a text value detailing the CPU usage as text.
1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.618.1.4
Example output is
0%/1%, 0%/1%, 0%/1%, 0%/1%, 0%/1%, 0%/1%, 0%/0%, 0%/1%, 0%/0%, 0%/0%
Is there anyway of converting this into something useful, for example a table?

Use these instructions to send file attachments that are over 5mb in size or to upload files to a secure server.
1. Open your browser and navigate to https://solarwinds.leapfile.com
2. Click on the link labeled Secure Upload.

4. Enter your name and email address.

I think you are using some other mibwalker tool to generate the mibwalk this also will not work for me .
Kinldy use the SNMPWALK tools provided by Solarwinds under this KB post exactly in screen shot and then save the .txt file
Steps
- Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion
- Run SNMPWalk.exe
- Enter the IP address of the node under Agent Address or DNS name.
- Select Version 2c or 3, depending on the node configured.
- .Enter the community string configured for the device.
- Scan and save the SNMPWALK file.
- Compress ZIP the file and send to support.
If you are unable to find the executable, download and install the following:

Now can see the issue basically Orion is showing the correct value as you can see below result from device SNMPWALK . However its failed to display graph for such type of value returned .
This is how the CPU load is been calculated for the devices including the Cisco through standard CPU oids which are missing from the device . (See post below )

So in short device is returning some non standard values which Orion failed to display
.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.618.1.4.1.0 = STRING: "0%/1%, 16%/1%, 41%/2%, 16%/1%, 10%/1%, 11%/1%, 1%/1%, 68%/1%, 1%/1%, 31%/1%"
