A ticket here was flagged for approval and an email was sent to the appropriate ticket head. She noted that a change needed to be made to the ticket before she could approve it so she denied it.
On our end, then, we changed the status to "Open", made the necessary changes to the ticket, and would like to submit it again for approval. We trigger the approval process by selecting a particular status type. An action rule picks up on the status type and applies the approval process.
The problem, however, is that the denied approval is stuck on this ticket and we can't remove it. When the status is pending, we can delete the approval process but now that it has been denied, we can't.
Is there a way to make changes to this ticket and then resubmit it for approval again?
Anyone figured this out yet?
sadly, the only option is to delete the ticket and start over.
