Serv-U settings / limits.

Question

My group is in the process of taking over the MFTP serv-u implementation and as we transition, there are a number of findings our Audit found.  A couple of them have to do with Password security.  I don't see any settings or limits to set to control Account lockout threshold, for example if a user types in the password wrong 4 times, the account get's locked.

Serv-U does contain protection against brute-force attacks and it is IP based. You can see more details in following knowledge base articles:

We also want to make protection more complex by introducing user-level blocking and we track that as a feature request under # 307464. I added your request to the record, so we can contact you as soon as we will have it available.
