Needing to stop packet loss alerts

I am using N-Central 10.1 from Solarwinds, and I am wondering if there is a way for me to monitor if something is disconnected, without having packet loss giving me a notification. I have checked Google, the Runbook, and the Help section in the software, but can find nothing that will tell me if that is possible, or not. I did some tinkering around with the settings as well, and still not able to come up with a solution.

Thank you, i appreciate you giving me a link. I would not have know about that. Every time i googled something to do with solarwinds, it always sent me to thwack.

You can mute the packet loss alert by designating that the node must be up before packet loss is alerted on. That will eliminate packet loss alerts on down nodes.

Hi pperryrlc. While the N-Central product is now part of SolarWinds, there is a separate community for N-able products. You might find your answers by visiting the community specifically designed to discuss the N-able product line. They also have several KB articles online for you to research. I hope this helps!

The problem is, that the nodes are up, just getting packet loss notifications. I do not have a problem getting into them remotely, but they are always showing a packet loss failure.
