I created a case and still working on resolution
Did you ever figure this out?
Are you using an AD Account, and if so do you have an individual account?
Your individual account will supersede the group setup.
If you duplicate existing menu bars make sure you re name them properly so it's easy to find when picking out the Menu bars you want the account to see in your Account Settings.
Let us know if you found a fix...
Not using AD, only local. I will give that a shot.
What I am really looking for is if I customize a page via web login, will everyone see that change?
If you edit a view - and someone else has that view - YES they will see the changes.
A way to manage what other people see - if you don't use their views ;
1 - create local accounts with generic names of each group/department/etc.
2 - simple login, no ability to change views(unless you setup complex PW so others can't adjust after you) - just to see what they see.
3 - Assign the views they need to that local account so you can login and see what they see.
Catalog your View ID #'s so you know what yours is, and from your account can change the URI - > ViewID=XXXX - to pull up another groups views and then you can adjust from your account.
