Numpty question time: Does the NPM threshold setting for 'Interface Percent Utilization' control the alerts that fire off based on interface xmit AND receive utilizations?
Just looking at massaging some of the built in alerts, and have one which is currently set to fire off if 'xmit percent utilization - threshold critical is reached | is equal to | 1'. Try as I might, I can't find a threshold specifically for interface transmission, only one for interface usage in general. Then I had a lightbulb moment! Maybe that threshold is used by both xmit and receive interface based alerts!
Please put me out of my misery! In my defence, I've only had one coffee so far this morning
