Alert for Oracle - Dataguard Received Gap. The gap of logs received on destination is...

Hi,

I am having trouble finding my way around the system provided Oracle Alerts.

I want to set up an alarm for Dataguard Received Gap where I nominate a value and if the delay in redo log application at the standby goes beyond this value an alert is generated.

I imagine I could look at a Custom Alert but I want to make sure I'm not missing system provided alerts.

Is there documentation detailing what all the Alert Types are and how they can be used?

Here is one I've setup previously. You can use the SQL to create either a custom alert or metric. Nothing canned in the product currently.
select (
SELECT MAX(SEQUENCE#) LOG_ARCHIVED
FROM V$ARCHIVED_LOG
WHERE DEST_ID=1
AND ARCHIVED='YES'
) - (
SELECT MAX(SEQUENCE#) LOG_APPLIED
FROM V$ARCHIVED_LOG
WHERE DEST_ID=2
AND APPLIED='YES'
) from dual;
