    Alerting escalation doesn't seem to alert the right people


      I created a group with only a single person in it and set things to route to this group.  The problem with this is that people in other groups are being alerted even though they aren't part of the escalation path (or any escalation path).   This appears to be a pretty serious bug.   Our department is having to remove everybody from this product and add a single email address - which we then change the forwarding status of manually to whoever is on call.  This defeats the whole purpose of this product in my opinion. 


      Has anybody else seen this and have a solution?
