A good place to start would be the documentation section for each of these products. If you go to the top navigation bar, choose the product you want under Product forums, and then click on Documentation, you will find a lot of useful articles that can point you in the right direction, depending on your needs.
What are your reporting requirements? There are several hundred canned reports (including ones migrated from the old legacy report writer). Also, don't think that you have to stick to the canned reports. Create one on your own in the web writer or from SQL/SWQL. But first, what data do you want to gather? I'd suggest going into the web report writer and using the search window on a couple of key words like 'volume', 'availability' and so on. That will give you some ideas.
