    Down nodes triggering emails again after a week of being down with no change


      I'm having an issue with a couple of alerts that we have built. We alert on up/down status of some nodes, with an email alert sent out after it being down for 5 minutes. Seems simple enough. Well, issue we are having, is that when a node goes down, we get the email alert. If the same node is still down for roughly 4-7 days give or take a couple days, we get ANOTHER down email alert, even though the status of the node did not change at all. I've combed through the alert and cannot find anything that would be causing this. These emails are unneeded and are a bit of a bother to our NOC as well as the customer, since we know the node is/has been down for some time. Anything that I could be missing?
