Alert Resource for NOC Dashboard

I was trying to figure out how to add a resource on a new page of our NOC dashboard that will show current open alerts that are critical (per a custom property) and are not interfaces. Is this possible? I saw the "Active Alerts" resource, but I am not able to do any filtering against it. I'm on NPM 10.6.2.
