Hi du243 , the above mentioned alert will not work as you running them against 'Node Table' , when you are building a Custom SQL Alert you will have to consider the fields that are linked with the tables on DB accordingly. If not you will have to work with Joins to get them.
Note: Your alert is against Node -> "Set up you Trigger Query : Node" and you have 'Trap Type' on your Where Clause which is running against the Nodes table. This is the reason it isn't working.
Fine tune the alert accordingly.
If this is a trap that you are talking about, get onto your primary poller (Open: Trap Viewer). You can set up alerts for the incoming Traps from there.
