In the coming weeks I'l be deploying a new Solarwinds environment based around 11.5. This particular customer has a large wireless estate across the UK, there are many phone calls into our NOC related to signal strength poor performance etc. This typically ends up being the client device, rather than the infrastructure. I believe that the implementation of wireless heat maps will really reduce the amount of calls for our NOC as they'll be able to see the signal strength first. However, the APs are all light weight can the heatmaps even be used with lightweight APs? They won't be polled directly via SNMP.
