We're getting ready to fully integrate VMAN into our NPM instance. Learning where specific data is being collected and how it compares to our existing data is essential to developing appropriate alerts. Behold the two graphs below -- same Windows server but two very different CPU charts.
The first chart is the average CPU load chart (data collected at 5 minute intervals) from NPM. The second chart is from the Virtualization tab on a small vCenter we've already integrated.
Can someone help explain the difference of nearly 10% in CPU load? This is a dual CPU box -- if that helps.
