    flooded with old emails


      I manually validated a user and now he is flooded with old emails about alerts assigned to him once upon a time. Even deleting the user want stop emails. Where can I stop this?

          I've seen issues of something similar to this happening where when I updated the email address and validated a user, they would get flooded about every 3 minutes with at least 10 messages.  The issue came down to old alerts that were acknowledged but never closed.  You may look into the old alerts that were assigned to the person and see if all of them have been closed out if they are no longer relevant.
