NPM Syslog Help

Dear All,

This is my first post. Sorry if im posting in the wrong section. I have Orion Platform 2013.2.0, NPM 10.6, IVIM 1.8.1 installed. I had managed services for the server now I have to do things in house and the handing over of the device was not so graceful, Hence im not very clear on how to configure things.

We had a working syslog in the NPM, its not working now .

Is syslog bundle free with NPM. How do i troubleshoot my current syslog module. I am getting traps from devices but no syslogs.

Did you check if syslog service was running ? Login into your primary poller and check for the status of Solarwinds Syslog Service (Orion Service Manager)

Hi Vinay,
I don't see the Syslog service in the service manager. I am missing something?
cause i have the syslog application installed.

someone might have uninstalled the syslog service. go to c:\programdata\Solarwinds\Installers and re-install the Core
