Parent Child dependencies where more than a single parent node exists

At present each of our remote sites are connected by two routers.  Each of these routers are considered a parent device.  The rest of the devices on site are in the child group.

The current situation is that when either one of the routers cease to be viable (cannot be pinged) all further alert messages are suppressed.  However, we only wish to have the Child group alert suppressed when both routers we have lost connectivity with both routers in the parent group (Router1 and Router2 rather than Router1 or Router2).  How does one go about setting this up?
