config upload

What you're thinking of is a command snippet.  If memory serves, the Config Upload would be used to upload the entire config with changes back to the device, not just the single line.

Thanks for the quick response. From the toolset, it states:

'config uploader can be used to change an entire config or just one or two parameters'

the website, specifically mentions the enable password recovery:

Config Uploader | Upload Configuration Changes | SolarWinds

It may be possible, I use NCM though for things of this nature though, especially since Toolset is limited to Cisco devices.  I'd recommend seeing if you have a test switch you an use prior to doing this on a production switch.

For information, I tried it on a test switch, then the live remote device and It doeswork using a short text file:

enable secret xxxxx

end
