F5 Big IP Hardware Polling

I've seen a few threads on this but never a solution. I've got a number of F5's I'm monitoring and while all will show Hardware Health in the List Resources, many have a "Could Not Poll" value constantly while others seem to work. I'm not able to find much in the logs or in thwack to really determine what the issue seems to be. I'd imagine if Hardware Health could truly not be polled, then the option shouldn't even show in List Resources. Appreciate any assistance figuring this out.

Which F5 platform and code level? Mine have been solid and haven't seen issues like this. We have Platform 2000S running 11.x code.

I know they're on build 608.0 and version 11.4.1 while the two that I have that do work are on build 817 and version 10.2.4. I don't have direct access to the F5s so all the information I can get from them is from Orion at the moment.

We still don't know the hardware, so I'm making a TON of assumptions....
11.4.1 build 608, there are patches and hotfixes for this version that "might" attribute to polling issues. But before looking at the code, I would have to ask your F5 admins if you (NPM) have full SNMP access.

We do have full SNMP access to it and Hardware Health shows up on a list resource, so there something the device is responding to.

Something I just thought about...are you running ASM on the F5s? The Application Security Manager (ASM) is basically an application layer firewall. Maybe the SNMP requests are being seen as an attack? (just a guess!)
Is this an intermittent issue, or continuous?

Did you ever get this sorted, as we've just had a pair of F5s put in, 12.1.1 build 0.0.184, and both fail on hardware health?

SW Guys, any news on this one?
I've had this issue for a while on my previous installation(s) of Orion NPM,
and still have them with the latest 12.1.
Would be great to hear from you on this issue . . .
