Unmanage Utility

Trying to create some tasks to stop alerting during the weekly reboot process. Time scheduled is for 1 hour per office.

When I start task manager and try to import the xml file I get the following..

The format of the task is not valid. The following error was reported:

(2,3):Job:

Any ideas on how I can get past this and get these tasks going?

Trilobite, You do not import the .xml file as a task. The .xml file is only used to create or edit the Unmanage Utility task itself. Once the task is saved, a .cmd file is created for you to schedule.…

You do not import the .xml file as a task. The .xml file is only used to create or edit the Unmanage Utility task itself. Once the task is saved, a .cmd file is created for you to schedule. You have to create a task in Windows Task Scheduler in which the program you want to start is one of the .cmd files located in task folder C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion\UnmanageUtility\Tasks.
Kind of confusing, but Unmanage creates an .xml file and a .cmd file. The .xml file is used by Unmanage Utility and the .cmd file is used by Windows Task Scheduler.
