Standalone Syslog Viewer

Hi everyone,

Is there a standalone syslog viewer application that we can install on client computers?

To be honest, the web based syslog viewer is useless. We always use the syslog viewer application on the server, but this of course requires anyone who wants to use it to RDP to the server. It would be great if there was a standalone viewer that can be installed locally on a desktop.

Not at present. Are you having issue with the performance of the web console, or is there functionality lacking?

you may also check this post, the UI is full-text search for syslogs too with possibility to show you entire log body. this will get a new fast search engine and account limitation feature - NPM unified and syslog search preview
Is that still lacking something so you prefer to have standalone app?

I am in the same boat. I need Noc to create their alerts on syslog without them having admin rights to my core servers.
