Hello Community,
Can someone please tell me how to apply these alarms from the Universal Device Poller to our Riverbed, see image. It appears as though none of the OIDs are supported...
Cheers

Those are trap OIDs. Hence, not available for polling
Holy,
Thanks for responding.
If that is the case, can you let me if its possible to configure trigger alerts for those traps?
Regards
On your Riverbed device, you will need to add the SolarWinds server IP as an SNMP Trap destination. You will then need to launch the SNMP Trap Viewer and configure rules to handle these traps (email actions, etc). Ideally, you would want to add the Riverbed device sending traps as an Orion node, even if it's just an ICMP node. If these are SNMP v3 traps, the node must exist as an SNMP v3 node first with identical SNMP credentials for both traps and polling.
You have options to extract the trap variables, if there are any associated with the traps. You can see my earlier reply on this topic if relevant for your traps Trap Viewer message parsing
Holy,
Thanks again for replying. Can you let me know how to:
add the Riverbed device sending traps as an Orion node
Cheers
Login to the Orion web console
click on Settings
click on 'Add a Node'
I was breaking my head as to why i am not getting response from these and saw ur comment that these are trap OIDs :-(
But if we need to convert these traps into alerts then how to go about it? We cannot do testing of all parameters so is there any alternate way?
We have lot of Riverbeds coming in for a customer....
