I have been reading the various ways people are attempting at setting up SSO but I can't find any solid solutions to help me with our setup. We are essentially wanting to put a link in everybodys 'My Site/Home' page in SharePoint pointing them to Help Desk. Currently, it does what most people say, points to the website requesting the user log back in. What we would ideally like to see is the hand-off between the AD profile logged in automatically to SharePoint, to log the Help Desk in when clicking on the link. Has anybody come across a simple way for this exchange to occur? I would assume it would just need to be a few options in HelpDesk to recognize the account hitting the site, do they exist?
You would need to setup SSO using ADFS with Web Help Desk to do this.
