Hi all, I have installed SoftFlowd on Linux Centos as NetFlow sensor from my interfaces following these instructionNetFlow Probe/Agent for Linux - SoftFlowD is an alternative to NProbe
When i added my Linux machine to my NTA - i see error: You have not enabled NetFlow data export on the 192.168.1.8 device. For more information, see "Enabling NetFlow and NetFlow Data Export (NDE) on Cisco Catalyst Switches" in the Support - Product Documentation area of www.solarwinds.com. But i dont find any information about enable NDE on Linux machines.
I check with wireshark, and trafic is incoming for the two interfaces
May any help me in this question?? thanks.
Based on the event, you are having both Interface Indexes = 0 in exported flows. Please check SoftFlowd documentation/support how to set it to export at least 1 of those interfaces with non-zero value.
http://data.gpo.zugaina.org/funtoo/net-analyzer/softflowd/files/softflowd.confd - the # SOFTFLOWD_INTERFACE_IDX= line might be the one to use.
