Hyper-V has to be seen with WMI from what I've seen. What you'd need is an account that has administrative rights to the Hyper-V host, then change the node to WMI. From there, in a list resources, you should then see the Hyper-V option show up.

mharvey is correct, Solarwinds monitors Hyper-V with WMI. Can you tell me if you are using virtualization manager or just Orion? If you are using Virtualization Manager you can add the host to virtualization manager and then integrate vman into Orion. If you just own Orion then you will need to add it as a node (using wmi) .
Actually it is IVIM. But when I added them as nodes to Orion then it required WMI. I got it figured out.
