What does "Last Error" mean above? If it's the last time the alert was triggered, then something is wrong: I've had the 2nd alert triggered after 7/30. If it's a problem with the alert, where do I look up what the error was?
This is the last time that alert was triggered.
Thank you aLTeReGo. May I suggest changing the language, perhaps to "last triggered"? Alerts can get triggered on a multitude of conditions, such as "high CPU utilization". Not all of them are errors; so "last error" seems misleading.
We are experiencing a situation where the 'Last Error' column keeps saying never even though these alerts trigger quite often. Some record properly some just say never. Is there any special conditions for this field to display the actual day it last triggered? Does the alert need something more than just writing to the event log to do this?

If the alert has been altered then this field may be reset to "never". If that is not the behavior you are seeing and unaltered alerts are triggering but this field not updating either the alert is bring triggered by another, different alert than the one expected. If that too is not the case then please open a case with support so we can investigate the issue further.
Thanks for the info. Right now it is not a huge concern since we manage most alerts via the tool on the server. Moving forward though, with the new alerting functions in the soon to be NPM we will see how this gets affected and maybe have to open a support ticket for it.
