I just tried to configure trap viewer to email me if a port on our switches gets disabled from port-security or portfast. The keywords I put in the snmp trap are "errdisable" and "port-security". I can not run tests now on the ports to see if they alert and notify correctly. Can someone who done this let me know if this would work please. Thank you for your time.
