    Alert Central Update/Configuration/STIG


      I have Alert Central in my test environment and have run into a number of questions I haven't been able to find answers to.


      - Unable to change SNMP Community name from Public without ROOT access. This is considered a vulnerability in the appliance: Need to request the root password to change this setting.

      - OpenSSH is showing as an older version that leads to a vulnerability, would there be an issue in updating to OpenSSH 6.2 or newer? (need ROOT access).

      - Need to configure the appliance to force HTTPS on log in.


      Beyond that we've been unable to get integration with Exchange to work correctly.


      Is the correct path forward to contact support for the root password as I've read in documentation? If so would that be a standard support request through the SolarWinds site?
