How can I get LUNs presented to Linux Hosts

    thegokes

      Hi,

I'm currently evaluating Storage Manager and love the product. The issue I have is we use Oracle VM for virtualization and cant seem to get the storage tab to display any of the LUNs presented to these servers.

      Would appreciate your assistance.

      Regards,

      Krisna

          Hi thegokes,

Can you post a screenshot of what you are seeing? Are you monitoring the NAS/SAN devices to which these LUNs are attached? Can you post a screenshot of the main console for that SAN?

The pictures are as follows SAN console, one of the Oracle VM hosts (Linux box) and a Windows server. The Windows server has drives F and E attached directly from the SAN while on the Linux server the directly attached LUN is mounted on the path /OVS/Repositories/004xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.

The LUNs show up fine on the Windows servers but not one the Linux box. When I check under the Performance tab for the Linux server and select disk I can see all the disk devices, however I am unable to see their mount points in the Storage tab.
