Could you please clarify what 'root' user you are using?
Because, Admin (Login: Admin, password: admin) is not root user with all access permission. So, Admin doesn't have access permission to do backup.
Please let me know in case others questions.
I have reset the root password for the Alert Central Virtual Appliance. I am login with root.
I don't want to login every time to take the backup of the rules and alerts manually. I want to automate the backup process from shell.
Like using script/cron jobs etc.
Sorry, but we don't give this information customers as usual.
I also need to change the root password on my Alert Central VM. How did you do it?
