I am having issues go from 10.6.to 10.7. I do the database backup then the wizard quits. I will look again for a side/obscure link.
Before upgrading, I would definitely figure out a way to backup your NPM database. That being said, when I went from NPM 10.6 to 10.7, it was a smooth process with no issues. However, I have had issues with past upgrades. In fact, I just upgraded NCM, and I am having major issues with that upgrade. If I have learned one thing though the years with SolarWinds, always make sure you have a good db backup before trying to upgrade!

I had no issues, and rarely have with updates of the NPM platform. Take a DB backup as others have said and proceed. It's a streamlined and low-click process when it works as it should.
Thanks for the help. We have decided to hold off until we move NPM to a VM. Wait for version 11 then if it's close.
