Using NTA behind a load balancer

Has anyone had any experience with running their NetFlow collectors behind a load balancer?

Our Network Engineers want to configure our six external NTA v4.0 collectors behind a load balancer to allow them to send all their flows to a VIP instead of the explicit IP of the polling engines.

If this works; it would reduce the variations in network configurations needed to send NetFlow or J-Flow data to NTA, and allow us to add polling engines and NTA collectors at will.

Bear in mind that traffic to/from the polling engines on other that the assigned NTA ports (9995 or 2055) would not be managed by the load balancer.
