I am trying to set up Alert Central accounts from AD. I was able to add the accounts from the CompanyX AD domain successfully. Then I tried to set up other AD accounts from CompanyY AD domain. I was able to do so by switching to a domain admin account in the CompanyY domain. Both of these domains are in a single AD forest.
Now, the problem is that only the CompanyX accounts can successfully authenticate even though CompanyY's AD is trusted.
Does Alert Central support the use of multiple domains for authentication? If so, what settings can be specified so that both domain's accounts are recognized for login?
I also tried using the global catalog LDAP port (3268) instead but that did not seem to help.
From what I understand, support for multiple AD domains is not currently supported. Please vote for the feature request below to see if we can get it added in a future release!
