Does IPAM actually scan duplicate IPs or subnets

In a situation such as an MSP would encounter, where multiple customers may use the same addressing scheme, I know that IPAM can be set to allow duplicate addresses. However, does that mean that IPAM can scan those duplicated subnets if they are placed in different named folder and set to different scan intervals? Will IPAM report separate and accurate usage statistics?
