We've been running Web helped for a while and about to make it externally accessible.
that bits been tested and we're almost ready to press the button.
However, how does webhelpdesk deal with it's web URL? For example, links in the automated emails seem to point http://hostname and a quick look at the email templates show this is the <login_url>.
When I edit the whd.conf to enable SSL, does webhelpdesk sort itself out or have I got email templates to edit before switching on SSL?
Update from my own digging around.
Under general, Options, the server DNS name was set to the hostname of the server, rather than the DNS name we're using for it!
