reports - no records returned

What specific report are you running that is returning no results?

It is literally every report I've tried, but here's a few examples:  Windows Update \ Windows Update Agent Config and Proxy Info; Windows Server Update Services \ Computers with approved update percentages; and the custom one I made following the admin guide, located in Windows Server Update Services Analytics \ Computers to Update. 

The most recent task history entry for your WSUS Inventory Task does not show any error correct? If not can you confirm you've configured WSUS to sync updates, and have computers reporting to this WSUS server?

Yes, last WSUS inventory task completed successfully.  WSUS is synchronizing updates and computers are reporting.  Third party updates are going out, status of computers is accurate... so far everything works except reporting.

I have many errors in the server event logs - Application log has .NET errors, and System log has errors with "SolarWinds Job Engine v2 service terminated unexpectedly" every few minutes.  I may just start with tech support and go from there.

A support ticket is probably the next step as it sounds like there's a few other issues at hand. Here's a link to create a support ticket.

Thanks David. Support helped get me on the right path.. sort of. I uninstalled all the Orion stuff and the event log errors went away. Restarted the server and ran another inventory – and now the reports have data. No idea if the issues were related – doubtful.
