I have had issues with a collector in Virtualisation Manager and have had to re add it with a different name. How do I delete the original one from the system as it is showing as offline as it no longer exists with that name
Thanks in advance

I spoke with tech support this evening about that same problem. I was told to make sure that the collector was not used in any of my data sources and then re-boot. When it did not work I was told to wait for the appliance to do "maintenance" to itself overnight. I wish after being on the phone for over 45 minutes he would have told me I need to run DB queries. Can someone tell me what they are?
Hello, since VMAN 6.2.0 it's not necessary to run DB queries. If you want to remove old collector just hover over the collector name and press "x":
Those conditions must be fulfilled:
1) the collector must be offline
2) the collector must not be used to collect data
If the "Remove collector" option isn't available then you should logout / login to VMAN in order to refresh current status.
Let me know if it doesn't work in your VMAN instance.
I am currently running V-Man 6.1 and this is not an option for me. What DB queries do I need to run to delete the collectors?
